Accessibility Statement
Last updated: October 13, 2026
We want everyone to be able to use RareSeaGlass.com, whatever device, browser or assistive technology they rely on. Beachcombing is for everybody, and so is this site.
Our Goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. The site is built with semantic HTML, keyboard-friendly navigation, descriptive alt text on images, readable color contrast and layouts that work on small screens.
Known Limitations
We know of one gap right now:
- Collection Log - The log saves to your own browser and works with a keyboard, but a screen reader may not announce every update as you add or remove a find. We plan to fix this.
Some color identification still depends on seeing the glass itself, so our color guides describe each shade in words as well.
Report a Problem
If something on the site is hard to use or doesn't work with your setup, please tell us. Email info@1s0s.com with the page address and a short description of the problem. We read every message and will try to get back to you within a few business days.
Ongoing Work
We test the site regularly with automated tools and by hand, and fix the problems we find. This statement will be updated as things change.
